speaking of, *this* is why DL sucks tonight: because people refuse to pick up a phone; they just want to work everything out via text.

nuances are lost in text. some things are too complex for text. misunderstandings happen. PICK UP A FUCKING PHONE.
I *hate* people who don't answer their phone when I ring and then text me minutes later "saw that you called, what's up?"
I have tried "call me when you have a minute" but then I get five messages saying "no no, what did you want?"
don't even get me started on "how have you been?" via text. ARGH.
