In response to "How does the 'world' preceive American remakes of popular foriegn films IE: GWTT? In America we pretty much ignore the existance of the original -- nm" by zeitgeist

IMO the remakes have to prove they're really better than the original. But I don't see why bother to make an 1:1 copy
