If you enjoyed Starship Troopers, pick up "Old Man's War" by John Scalzi. A wonderful book.

I just finished the second book in the same universe (a sequel, but stand-alone) called the Ghost Brigades and it is very, very good, too.
I just "discovered" Scalzi with Redshirts about a month ago and he is my new favorite author of the moment. I'm devouring his catalog.
