It took me a while to get used to his writing style. I don't know how drug addicts write but if I did I'd imagine Mike Doughty writes like a drug addict. And...I'm off the Mike Doughty fan train. He's a dick. He's on heroin yet everyone *else* in the band is a asshole. He openly admits to wanting to be a hipster NYC cool guy. He expressly takes shots at everyone who liked Soul Coughing and pretty much calling us idiots for liking the music then admits he writes the same 4 songs (which he does). He clearly has a very elevated opinion of himself and very little self-awareness yet.
