I don't know how the Knicks really feel about Shumpert since I think he was put in a package for a deal to get Nash a week ago. No one thought that was a good idea and ripped the Knicks for even considering trading such young talent for the very old Nash.

Shumpert was their best on the ball defender last year and when he got injured we saw how much worse the team was without him. He's good on offense and very good on defense is expected to be in the starting lineup every night.
