it sucks, of course; but since they did say that, I think it's a form of a warning.

the part that struck me is something I've heard from elsewhere from time to time - that vendor-types are meant to never say no to fb employees/that some of them expect special treatment.

that's something beyond making it a good environment in which to work. eep.
