One of the 's current pitchers played with him in the minors. While they were teammates, Adenhart gave him a glove. He carried it around with him all the time, and possibly used it in some games in the minors. He used it for his first major league start a few days ago, and I think it was the only win the O's had in that series against the Angels.
Also, I'll never be able to forget what happened to Adenhart as he was killed on my birthday.
