So, yeah. I am thinking of having a creative writing contest on Thotter.com .. haven't decided on details, though.

It's not tied into any other authentication providers, so it's open for pen names and such. It doesn't have very many social features at the moment, so it's almost an anti-social network (perfect for creative writing ;-) ) ...
I can't decide if I should try asking companies for "prizes" to offer, or if I should just have it be a merit-based contest. Obviously prizes would make it a whole lot easier to drive traffic; however, the server is seriously underpowered right now, so traffic of any sort could cripple it.
I should probably set it so that "Publish" is the default action, instead of "Save As Draft"; editing is allowed, so people can always change that status if they accidentally publish ...
Anyway. Sorry, it's late and I'm in "Random Musings" mode.
