Whenever I go to the place across the street for a haircut, I wonder if they are thinking "please stop coming here".

It has the classic barber poll in the window, but advertises fades, blowouts, etc on the window. Whenever I tell them what I want, they look at me and tentatively say "scissors, right" because most of what they do is razor and/or blade-related. I've even had employees defer me to other barber before because they didn't feel they had enough scissor experience.

But damn, they do a really good, thorough job. Best haircuts (and beard trim/shaping) I've ever gotten.
