IYC: Got good news today re: the new insulin pump system I'm trying to get. Looks like my insurance covers 100% of durable medical equipment.

The insurance may or may not cover a new pump, as my old one is still apparently under warranty, but with the deal the new company is offering (get rid of your old pump, and get one of ours, for $199) doesn't go through the insurance company. That's a price we can deal with. Once I get the pump, the insurance company will cover 100% of the supplies.

So, it looks like I'll be getting it. The thought of no tubing makes me giddy.
