I also held off because of breastfeeding. I was assured that it was safe, but I was too paranoid and anxious (vicious circle!) to believe that. I think some of it for me was normal overwhelming parent love and desire to protect my babies and some was actual chemical depression and anxiety. It's hard to sort through the right thing when you're in the middle of it and particularly unhelpful when other people try to second guess your choices.
Zoe's good. Really thriving at her new school. Nick is 4 1/2(!) now. He's awesome, but a total hard headed rascal. I have no "hand" with him. :)
