they say the red sunsets are because of the fires in Russia have put smoke into the higher atmosphere

the smoke eaters are not even firemen, they are young unemployed, often probation/parolees, (at least one gal I knew that worked a summer did so because she was told to report right out of tejachapi. they get minimum wage, live in tents.
