I've never needed to use a car. I have a non-driver's ID from the state.

I'm poor and don't have cash for trips/vacations so I don't leave the city. Seriously, I haven't been on a vacation in more than a decade. The last trip out of state, not counting NJ was to Florida in 2001.
I just don't have any reason to drive anywhere so I never went to get my license.
I do have plans to get one at some point this year. I even mentioned it to Truman last night. I do want to leave NYC at some point and I will have to drive when I do.
