Does anyone here have a membership to the YMCA? Is it worth the cost?

Looking into parent/child "swim lessons" for Nathan. There are non-member rates so that is an option. I was looking into family membership costs, so maybe we could use the fitness facilities there - it seems to be more costly than, say, getting a gym membership.

Is it worth the extra cost?
