It's when they attempt to *legislate* their beliefs and impose them on others that I get upset.
See how that works in the opposite? You're immediately saying that your beliefs should rule over their beliefs because theirs are somehow inferior to yours.
It's not that I don't agree with a lot of the same things you do, it's just that this line of thinking really, really bothers me. Of course they should try to legislate their beliefs. You're doing the same thing (put what you believe is right into the law). Just because it's labelled "religious" doesn't make it inferior.
And with this I'm done because this is becoming a Fuzzy problem for me and I need to link myself to my earlier post.
