So against my better judgment I'm writing some things I want to tell my store manager. Can someone give me thoughts on what I've written?

1. Change back the menu boards. So much time is wasted by not letting the customer see their options. While the big 8 and 10 might look good, our menu has never been more complicated, and we need to be letting our customers see this information. Doing this will cut down on how long it takes to even start the ordering process and will also let employees take care of more customers overall.

2. Get day shift manager off the make table, or bring in a secondary inside person. The manager really needs to be managing, and that's hard to do when he/she is locked at the make table. Having a second person who is cross trained between phones, cook, cut, and Wingstreet will help cut down on make times on orders and time customers are waiting to make orders. Currently, with only three people on day on most days often leaves a single person working the entire restaurant while both drivers are on deliveries. This isn't effective, or safe for the day shift manager.

3. Expand both day driver hours, but include breaks. The first driver of the day could come in from 9:00am until 4:00pm, set up the store, clean Wingstreet, and begin that day's driver prep. On truck days, they would rotate and put away the stock. The second driver of the day could come in at 10:00am until 5:00pm. This allows them to get tasks started before orders come in, and complete them as they get time later. This also allows them to later clean up from their shift as well as start night time prep as well. Breaks will be scheduled, but only taken if business allows. Also if business drops off in the early afternoon, and tasks are complete, they, or the secondary inside person can be sent home early.

4. Advertise ordering online or mobile apps more, but also change delivery quote times in the system to be accurate. Not having to take the order ourselves certainly saves labor, but we need to make sure that as the deliveries come in, the system is giving the online orders an accurate delivery time.
