My panic moment of the week...

My nephew and I were swimming. We had been in the water for a while, and it wasn't very crowded; a few other groups with a total of about 15-20 people. Bobbing around, and then I look around and notice that my nephew and I are the only people in the water. I first look back to the beach. The lifeguards are just sitting there and the people on the beach just seem to be casually going about their business. So then I scan the water... no fins. Look back at the lifeguards. Drift back towards shore a bit. Scan the water again. Repeat. Then finally some more people came into the water and I relaxed (to the extent that I ever relax in the ocean) and went about my swimming. Swimming in the ocean is my skydiving, rollercoaster, etc. I guess. I am scared the entire time I'm out there, but I still do it.
