I'm so over the corporate bullshit/paranoid store manager/out of touch DM that I've decided to start looking for a job for the first time in 10 years.

I randomly looked at the jobs page for a very large area medical practice and found this:
---------
Authorization Associate
Full Time
The Authorization Associate is primarily responsible for obtaining pre-certifications or pre-determinations for patients scheduling outside of the Practice and pre-certifications or predeterminations for patients of the Practice for both in-house and outside the Practice on a daily basis. Also confirms insurance eligibility and coverage conditions on patient insurance when indicated. Experience preferred.
-------------
That sounds like something I could do. I've dealt with insurances via the pharmacy end for 10 years, I'm tempted to apply but I've no idea what the salary would be. Normally I'd say fuck this job and take anything that doesn't beat me down on a daily basis but for a couple of reasons I actually make well above the average rate for what a tech normally makes, plus I've got a mortgage and stuff so it's not like I can take a severe pay cut and be okay. On the online application, like, the third line is salary requirement. I've no idea what to put. Any idea?
Oh, and after Friday I'm on vacation for two weeks. Guess I've got time to look for a new job after all...
