That would be awesome, and, yeah, David, I can see that being in his contract. Wikipedia tracks the title reigns and Punk's is currently the longest since Cena had it for 380 days starting in 2006 when he went on the SuperCena run. He would pass that if he kept it until the Rumble and then you're in the title reigns of the 70's and 80's which were absurdly long.

And I applaud WWE's long term booking again, there's no reason for him to show up in the middle of the Punk/Daniel Bryan promo unless you're going to build towards Punk/Rock at the Rumble, which means he'd need to keep the title until then. I would approve of that.
