unfortunately, I lost all my files from pre-accident, or I'd look-up where it was. I questioned them a lot about it - "really?" "no, really?" heh.

I wondered if it was a local-law situation or something, as I had never encountered it before and haven't since.
I was traveling a lot back then, so I'd only be guessing where it was - maybe new england or georgia or virginia? it was probably a part-work/part-personal trip, as I did that a lot; but I would pump gas even for work trips, among other cost savings actions. I don't like to spend extra, no matter who's paying for something.
