For example:
In the Friends episode that inspired the LL, Ross meets Isabella Roselini in Central Perk. Is it ok/permissible for him to, having met her and conversed with her, to actively try to get her to go out with him? Like, giving her his phone number, asking her out to dinner, etc.?

(Just a stupid thought I had that I will maybe share later. And no, I'm not stalking Jennifer Aniston.)
