I think I'm actually going to get a new 4-door sedan, not the wagon. We'll wait until the wife's car dies before getting the Outback or whatevs.

2ND QUESTION: if I get a Consumer Reports subscription, do they have an app that I can use to pull up info while walking around the lots?

3RD QUESTION: How well do dealerships examine trade-ins? I got some oil in my coolant (bad gasket), but it's not overheating or anything yet. I put in a bottle of head gasket sealant last night. Will they detect that before assessing my trade-in value? Will they ask me about it? I probably wouldn't lie if they asked me about the engine directly.
