There are roughly 5-8 picks each in the first round who are solid prospects. With the #1 overall pick, you have your choice of those. Trading out of that spot and giving up your next two highest draft picks in the same deal means that you will have only five players until 24 selections in a 120 pick draft (20%) are already off the board. So, your roster will be thin. If Forte gets hurt, your season is probably over. It's a very dicey gamble that pays off huge if Forte has an MVP-caliber season.
