don't forget, its part of the sales profit center to denigrate the trade in....humm I hear 'bearing noise' is the usual scam, at least the one pulled on me several times. that and, unless your car really is in prestine condition they will down grade the trade value, tell you they can't have that POS stinking up the yard, look at the scuffs and scratches, stains etc. naw we'll just wholesale it out of here. (then when I return I see my old trade in front and center on the lot with a price tag twice what I got in trade and much higher than what I saw as high value, they just detailed it. buffed the scuffs etc.
