Based on the number of keepers, even the #1 draft pick in the league = someone outside the top 12-15 players at each position

because of keepers. Granted, there are rookies that obviously could not be keepers and this year they are notable, but in general
A 1-1 draft pick = someone outside the Top 10 players
Maybe I'm just trying to justify my trades in my head, but it seems that draft picks won't net you Top flight players other than a few that might slip through the cracks if someone can't keep one. Or is the caliber of talent in the NFL enough that a Top 20 player is quality enough?
