she's removed the Stupid Kid completely from her life and is a million times the better person for it. he was destroying her and she didn't realize it until it was far too late. she acknowledges the whole thing was a horrible mistake and she's going to carry around that baggage and emotional scars for a while but she learned her lesson, finally.

she hears from the ex boyfriend periodically, she keeps saying they might make plans to do stuff but they never do.

meanwhile, even if it's only briefly, we chat almost daily.

I know I got all sorts of advice her to tell her to fuck off but...I can't, I just can't do it. we're pretty close friends now and I'm 100% okay with that.
