We're essentially at a full-on NBC ban in my house because of their lack of international coverage ... :)

If you watch NBC, the general sense you get of the olympics is that the Americans are the only competitors in every sport ... and the stories of the other competitors are irrelevant.

I, for one, am curious about the journeys of other countries' athletes. I want to know more about the tiny countries that can only send three or four athletes, I want to know more about the conditions under which the dominators practice (china, ukraine, romania, russia). That sort of thing.
