I found this interesting, though I'm not fully understanding the implications. The conclusions seems familiar (less processed foods, basically), but with newer reasonings.

the scientific basis has been known for many years, but the medical establishment push low fat food so hard, that it has become ingrained in society.

I just read an article about a guy who went through several diets, all successful to a point, and ended up mostly just cutting out processed carbs. -- (link)

Oooh. Didn't think of that. It had a face and isn't breaded or batter-dipped. I need to have a healthy diet and this one looks like it could work.

I am thinking of doing paleo. I definitely need to do low carb (it's recommended by my doctor and it really works best) but it's so hard to maintiain. -- nm

I think that interpretation is relatively new. But it has been known for many years that dietary cholesterol has little effect on blood cholesterol. -- nm
