The several times I got wind of a surprise party for me I foiled it and made it get cancelled. I agree with that guy. Call in sick dude!

Last one was for my 40th and I sniffed it out by lying and saying I was going to the beach alone that weekend. Forced them to come clean as a few people were going to fly in for it.

I hate parties if they are for me.

Granted I had 2 weddings and am working on a third, but if I had my way going to Vegas to get married would have been what I did.
