the closet seems to be the key for my over all messiness - if shoes don't make it back to shelf, they are on floor, I can't get into

the closet to put my clothes away, so they stay folded in the basket - someone takes the basket and leaves the clothes dumped on the chair, it then gets confused with dirty clothes - it's a vicious cycle. ugh.
