So I just got back from applying for unemployment. I had to go to the office because KY's website hasn't upgraded to be compatible with IE9.

I got sat down at a pc with an earlier browser so I could file my claim on line - in the unemployment office. Kinda surreal. I can call in now to file weekly claims.

Total time there was only 45 mins, including 15 mins waiting for them to open. Last year the line was around the corner. This morning I was 8th in line. Took me all of 5 mins to re-open my claim from last year, once I got on a pc.

Oh, that total time includes travel to & back. The office is a block & a half up the street from me. :)
