ML: We left AT&T because they wouldn't give us the $199/$299 iPhone price as existing customers.

"That price is only for new customers signing a 2-year agreement."
"We're signing a 2-year agreement. What's the difference? If you're not willing to give us the phone at the $199 price, you're willing to lose us as customers?"
"Yes, sorry."

I'm not sure if that's the way it is now, but I remember being *pissed*. But, we're much happier with Sprint.
