clinic - it's one of the local places that help people and it's struggling financially. I'd also check on the other local non-profits via their on line records to see which one's could use funding help and make donations to help them continue to do the work they do for the less fortunate in our community.
We have some organizations that are fundraising machines ... they have adequate funding mechanisms to do their work - but there are some that just struggle and it's not that they are any less deserving - they just don't maybe have the knack or the means to do it - or maybe they aren't "popular" charities.
OH - and the other thing I'd like to do is figure out some land purchases I could make locally to donate to the land preservation group that will keep them from being developed - to retain as much natural beauty here as possible.
