-it was too much about the gadget. The bike destroying tanks like they're Kias, the Bat saving the day.
They established early on that the bike packed a punch.
-The endings of the second movie was so much more powerful. It was about the characters: the rise and fall of the hero and the villains.
-The last movie was about firepower and cheap ploys
This one was about redemption and being freed from what binds us. The arc was very much like the Star Wars trilogy where the middle act ends in despair and is overcame in the final act.
