Although, if I was working, nearly all of my pay would be going to daycare, so there still wouldn't be anything to contribute.

At least this way I get to be the one taking care of the baby, seeing all the firsts, etc., and we're avoiding all the "daycare germs". Still, though, a lot changed when we went to one salary.
