"the investigation process of the damages incurred during your rental period indicates that we did not receive sufficient information upon your return. Please complete the information below."
They are claiming that the car I rented for a 1 day period when driving from MD to RI at the end of June incurred damage to the left front bumper (I'm guessing that's what LF FB means). There was NO damage to that car, other than scratches and such that were already on the car when I rented it. Stuff was marked down when I rented the car, and when I returned it in RI, the girl said everything was fine. I've since shredded all of that paperwork.
I can't do anything now, as the office I rented the car at is closed, and the damage control dept. is closed until Monday.
Is there really anything I can do other than call and claim the damage wasn't incurred by me? I'm *pissed*. Why am I hearing about this almost 2 months later?
