The more interesting question to me is how people's life events shape them such as beliefs such as that are valid.

Women deserve to be raped.
God's plan determines which ones are resistant to pregnancy.
If the women are poor, there is no responsibility on the part of those who demand that they carry out the pregnancies to aid the surprised mothers financially.
There is pure evil in this world view.
