What's the best way to tell a woman that you just want to be friends?

There's a woman I know through corgi meetups, she's nice and I have run into her at other dog related activities. She wants to go out with me and I just want to keep it at the friends level.
Like on Saturday she invited me to go to a dog park with her on Friday morning and then go get coffee. I told her I'm usually watching movies on Friday, and she said I like movies.
I don't want to date anybody right now, but I'm afraid if I tell her that she'll hope that when I come back around to wanting to date that I'll date here.
I don't want to hurt her feelings and want to be as kind as possible. Any suggestions?

Don't ever actually tell a woman that you don't want a girlfriend now, because if you ever change your mind she'll hold that shit against you forever. -- nm

I wouldn't do the fake girlfriend thing - could backfire - just be honest. Say "no - I just want to be part of this group of friends - not to date" -- nm

I so feel your pain. I hate that it's unacceptable to be off the market without a fake significant other.
