while his statement (I assume the quote above is correct) is factually true, it is incredibly objectionable, and I would say it's safe to say very offensive to someone who has gone through being raped.
I would love it if abortions never happened, but that is what I think and it is not my place to tell someone else what they should do or don't do, even more when I would tell someone not to do something that I have no chance of having to make that decision.
I think he is totally disreguarding how traumatic it is to the victim if he is telling women not to have an abortion because that is what he believes. he can never be raped and become pregnant, so for him to say that will really piss some people off.
if someone says that horrible rapes have created some horrible people, would that change his opinion even though it is probably no less true?
