not only would a rape victim have to go through a pregnancy she may not want to, and then be financially and socially responsible for raising the child, but she might also have to share custody with the rapist. even if he goes to jail for some time, he would still have some parental rights. I couldn't imagine the woman having to keep having contact with the guy for the rest of her life.
