they'd get taken to Wegmans once a week so they could grocery shop. (Union rules) The size of the stores and the selections were so ginormous to them -they were very overwhelmed at first. Couple that with the great prices in comparision to groceries in Manahattan. By the 3rd week they were hankering to go. It ain't D'Agostino's.
This was years ago obvs.
