for good restaurant options for dinner & lunch - and any "must do" things for Montreal.
He and his daughter Erin are staying near Berri UQAM Subway station and have both car and subway to get around.
They need one pick for near the theatre district as they have tickets to see Wicked on Wed. night - and dinner anywhere else that would be really tasty.
the sight seeing time is today & tomorrow
doesn't have to be any certain type of food - they would just like something really good ... he said the dinner he had was a huge disappointment - thought his sauce came from a can :(
thanks for the help ST :)

Musts: Schwartz for smoked meat, Banquise for poutine. For fancier stuff: La Salle à manger on Le Plateau, my favorite restaurant is Ouzeri, greek on

That's a chain, never eat at a chain, it's all from cans. If he likes smoked meat, go to Schwartz's. Go to L'Express. Go for seafood in Old Montreal. -- nm

Why would you go to a chain that server "bayou" food in Montreal? Go to a deli for Montreal smoked meat sandwiches and Smokes for poutine -- nm
