All joking aside, the link demonstrates exactly why there is a brazen attempt at disenfranchising minorities.

Once you get past the vile dehumanizing aspect of the process, disenfranchising simply makes business sense. If a candidate will lose African American, Latino and women's votes, trying to stop the votes from occurring is the most logical solution.
