I hated 'pot pies' as a kid as it was served when money was tight and parents fought, wasn't till recently I could eat one, of course there's a world

of difference between what was in a cheap ass frozen brick and what they serve in a nice a restaurant, but for years I still couldn't eat them...I mean once I ordered something described as being a turnover pastry shell encrusted blah blah and dayam when it was served I saw, fuck it, its a damn pot pie and I turned it back before the waiter even set it down.
