to become a lieutenant (or something similar). His mom insists on ironing his "lucky suit" for him and messes it up so she faxes an explanatory letter to the interviewer outlining why her son might be a little nervous in the interview. The resulting interview (and Garrett's reaction shots) are pretty funny.
