In 2010 at the age of 36, Jeter had his lowest Batting average since his rookie year.

Now in 2012, at age 38, he is batting .324 and leading the league in hits and At Bats. And he plays one of the toughest positions on the field
I like Jeter, he always has seemed a class act and he is a lock for first ballot HOF.
But you have to take a step back and look at this. Sorry, but like Groiny said, the history of guys making a comeback like this late in their careers is usually not a good sign.
