He has little to lose and a lot to gain.

Jumping 20 pounds doesn't matter to me considering he tried fighting there before, and it is probably closer to his walking around weight. If he loses, it's no big deal because of the short notice and the quality of opponent. But if he wins he is the fight person to beat Jones and he is champ. He was smart to ask for the fight, and most other fighters in the UFC should have asked for it as well.
