Curious. Latest Quebec polls show Liberals bouncing back on top, and that's even before the debates.

I think people were finally wisening up that no one wants Marois as Premier. I think that the polls that come out after the debates will just further solidify this as Charest managed to deflect the mud thrown his way, succeeding in slinging some of his own, and then going on to sink Legault and Marois with the sovereignty question.
Mind you, as much as I've admired Charest all these years, it's time for the Liberals to find a successor. He can't carry on forever. That being said, Quebec cannot carry on as a one-party province. There needs to be an alternative that's not a sovereigntist party. The CAQ can still be that party, but not with Legault (unless the PQ finally tosses out the sovereignists).
