I saw a TV piece on that yesterday, including interviews with some of the recipients. Very neat.

During our vacation last week one of our group found a $20 bill in the parking lot. We (party of 5) received excellent service at dinner that night and - in addition to the 15% service charge on the tab - she left the $20 for our server.
Not $500 but it felt good :)
