okay - where to go:

hautelook.com - they have daily and weekly deals on high end makeup and other stuff - clothes and such

drugstoreprincess.com
she finds deals, bargains and duplicates of high end make up at the drug store - " If you like MAC foundation try Revlon Color Fresh" - stuff like that.

I just bought some sale stuff at Urban Decay - they have a " sale" button. I can't afford it otherwise.

The latest trend - is to go as dark with the shadow as you possibly can and then build UP from there - make it lighter with blendable shades - with the lightest color ever in the corners of your eyes. This goes against everything I ever knew - so I'm working with it. I am using Tattoo color pots from ( maybeline? or color girl? something cheap) and learning with those - its a work in progress but I think I like it.
